P.S Satellite – A Project of Prospect New Orleans

The TEN Gallery is pleased to present Gulf Currents featuring 12 artists of BOX 13 from Houston, TX. BOX 13 is an artist run nonprofit innovative environment for the creation and advancement of experimental contemporary art in Houston. BOX 13 artists create this environment through the offering of affordable work spaces for emerging and established artists in Houston, dedicating four interior spaces to the exhibition of artistic explorations, a window gallery for installations, and an interest in sharing our collaborative ideology with our immediate neighborhood as well as with other nonprofits throughout the country. This round, we are delighted to share an exhibition exchange with Ten Gallery whose members recently exhibited in our space. The work exhibited by the 12 Boxers in Gulf Currents is not united on a theme, but does display an affection for quirky, contemporary, idea- driven exploration.
